Pre-Delivery Checklist for Watford Sites

- Clear the Walkway: If you are wheelbarrowing concrete, ensure the pathway is flat, clear of rubble, and wide enough. Lay down boards over lawns or soft ground.
- Prepare Wheelbarrows & Labor: Concrete sets quickly. Ensure you have enough people to lay and rake the concrete. A standard 1m³ of concrete requires approximately 20 to 25 wheelbarrow trips.
- Water Supply: Our drivers require access to a water tap to rinse the truck's chute and mixing tube after the pour is completed.
Demurrage & Offload Times
We offer 10 minutes of free offload time per cubic metre of concrete. For example, if you order 3m³, you have 30 minutes of free offloading. If wheelbarrowing takes longer than the allocated slot, a demurrage charge of £2.00 per minute is applied to cover the driver's wait time.
